Is there an echo in here?

You would have a very fun time...shy or not. The group is even more friendly and fun in person than on the site. The Other Tim is the best host you will ever meet. The area is beautiful. The rides are wonderful.

General note for all who have never attended a Pashnit Gathering, especially lurkers. Come on over, the Spring Gathering is IMHO the best one. You will meet those of us who are regular posters and fellow lurkers. What you will find is that we are not cyber giants, just folk who enjoy eachother's company. You will enjoy it...come on in the water's just fine!

BTW in the group pic, I'm the one on the left. Sitting on the yellow BMW wearing the grey floppy hat. Come on over and say howdy.
I agree with Law Dawg on this one, it is a great time and a great place to just enjoy eachothers company.Come on John come on over.
My first Gathering was the one last Fall,I was a lurker for about oh say five minuts, everyone makes you feel very welcome.
Ok, I don't think it can get any colder there in May than it was in October!! We have been having a dry winter so far and well I am convinced we will have plenty of sun and warmer nights in Spring. And I know for a fact, that we have our last rain and cold night around May 5th and after that it is nice. Long story but I always plan a BDay party at the park that wekend and it rains.

And a hint for our wonderful guys out there....Mother's Day is Sunday May 13

I am new to Pashnit and would love to attend this event. The area around Sopiago Springs is wonderful! I have spent a lot of time in the area and look forward to attending. Will be bringing a 26' camping trailer, wife and 7yr old son along with a 640 KTM dual sport & maybe a 450EXC - what time is the DS ride going to start on Saturday morning? Can we arrive Friday evening on the 11th? Will bring steaks and fixins for the BBQ.

Sounds like a great time!

Hi Steve, I have been to the last three Sopiago gatherings usually showing up on Thursday evening. As for the dual sport ride it usually starts around 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Depends on how long it takes everyone that is going to get ready. It will be great to meet you and your family.

I'm gunna bring me truck with some room in the back for other peoples junk. First to call out 'til it's filled get's the cargo hauled but you gotta be on the route (sorta). Basically 5 from Patterson to 4 and 88.

Let's see..... I will have surpassed my mandatory probation period and should have my rehab established by then.

No not court probation and no not drug rehab!! Honestly...... my reputation......

I'm not sure that I will be released to ride at that point, but we will be coming!! I think that we will stay at a motel as my bionic back won't be able to handle camping out yet.

Wooooo Hoooooo! I'm excited!!

Hugs!!
Sassy

Mothers Day! Oh Geez! I woulda forgot it fer sure!

Yes, BTW I'm Back!!!!!!

I'm on a friends laptop in my way home to NorCal after being in PA for the past 7+weeks. I haven't been on any bike in all that time and I am suffering severe withdrawl symptoms. I hope to be home to Quincy by Monday evening but Sharrill tells me the weather has gone to pot with snow and such so I guess all I'll be able to do is sit on the bike in the garage and go VROOM, VROOM!!!!

I'm really looking forward to this trip in the spring and I have a friend flying out to Reno in mid June for a week. He plans on renting a bike and we are gonna make a run out Hwy 36 and back then another run to Yosemite and back. If anyone is interested in tagging along, PM me and we can discuss details.
