Had a weird flashback to my childhood when he mentioned Jeremiah Johnson.
My mother used to alternate between watching J.J. and Never Cry Wolf so much that I often get them confused in my own mind.
So when J.J. was mentioned I pictured a scene from Never Cry Wolf when he is running around marking his own territory...and then pictured Tom doing that at the Spring Gathering...
Anyway...weird moment in my mind while reading forum posts = weird post

The BBQ is gonna be on Saturday from noon to 5 or so. Tim asks for a $10 donation to help cover the costs. You're welcome to bring a covered dish, chips, tater salad, drinks ,ice, etc if you wish. You might wanna PM Tim and ask him what he still needs or what you can do to help him.

Other meals are each individual or families doings. There is a cafe at Cooks Station just up the road from the campground if you prefer. I'm pretty sure this time we are gonna get there early enough to get camp set up and head into Pine Grove to 88 Giant Cheeseburgers for supper Friday night.

The Other Tim (the one that owns the campground) has a movie screen built and last fall, they made popcorn Saturdaynight and most folks sat out watching The World's Fastest Indian. Also at the last Gathering, there were several folks with Coleman stoves and the like if you need hot water for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, etc.

Take another look at the first page in this thread Tims 3rd post to see the pics of the "campfire" that was built. One for each night. You can cook over it, but you're gonna need either a really long handled cooking fork or an asbestos suit!
