Video mapping from the world's smallest and lightest gps video camera. The ContourGPS captures beautiful 1080p video. It utilizes a 135° wide-angle rotating lens that delivers a true high quality image that captures all the action with minimal distortion and fish-eye. It records Full HD in all its glory.
Whether retracing your laps at the ski hill, checking your speed on a DH run or logging the gain on a road ride, the tracking capability of the ContourGPS adds speed, location and elevation to the picture. The ContourGPS is set up with a GPS receiver that auto-maps the three essentials - location, speed and elevation - at up to four times per second to create a continuous track of coordinates. After the fact, the GPS track synchronizes with your footage to provide a second-by-second replay via Google Maps of the run you ripped, the route you rallied or the ride you crushed.
MOBILE CONNECTION
With the new Bluetooth® capability of the ContourGPS we've made it possible to check your angle on a smartphone screen before dropping in or taking off. The Contour App creates a wireless handheld viewfinder that enables you to align your shot to make sure you have the right angle and eliminate guesswork. Made for both iOS and Android, the ContourGPS connection also allows users to tweak settings via phone on the hill or at home.
CRISP & SMOOTH.
Stunning HD footage or smooth capture of fast action - with the ContourGPS it's not one thing or the other but both at the same time. Our location-based camera utilizes an advanced processor to shoot crisp and smooth video at either 720p at 60 frames per second or 1080p at 30 frames per second. It also lines up the ideal first-person shot with a 135-degree wide-angle lens and quickly adjusts to changing light conditions when out in the field. All you'll need to worry about is style and form when it's on.
SUPER TOUGH.
The places we play are rough, raw and dirty, which is why all Contour cameras are made to withstand run-ins with everything from caked mud and kicked-up sand to raging mountain storms. The burly aluminum body withstands shakes, rattles and rolls while a water-resistant design sheds all types of precip, moisture and spray. For full submersion sports, such as surf or wake, the Contour GPS aftermarket waterproof case provides total dryness up to sixty meters deep.
MOUNT UP.
Shooting in hands-free HD should be seamless, which is why we offer a full range of mounts matched to specific adrenaline activities. From gunsight, undercarriage and roll bar mounts to the ideal ski and skate helmet attachments, Contour's TRail™ Mount system automatically places the camera in the sweet spot for your specific sport. Rather than wasting time rigging something up, our sport-specific mounts get set up in no time and keeps the camera shooting steady from start to finish.
Audio
The video is only part of the story and Contour's built-in, multi-direction microphone captures the ambient audio that underscores all the action.
Storage
Expandable to 32 gigs, the internal microSD card captures up to eight hours of footage when shooting in full 1080p mode and swaps out quickly for a fresh card.
Downloads
Our free, custom storyteller software easily downloads and logs the GPS location elements of your footage via Mac or PC. Watch video, import coordinates and layer them together for a richer story.
