Galfer SuperBike Lines
RACE USE : Galfer's SuperBike Series brake line kits offer what AMA pro teams have had for years, Direct Thread in brake lines. This kit is the ONLY production version of the brake lines Galfer builds for Team Yoshimura Suzuki.
Most kits feature 2 lines off of the master cylinder and come complete with hardware, adapters, crush washers and bike specific installation instuctions. This is a line kit what will give you -2 feel but with -3 volume. Designed for closed circuit riding. Installation should be performed by a qualified motorcycle technician. SuperBike fittings and adapters come in Gold color only. Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
Why Galfer?
Galfer stainless steel lines improve your braking power by preventing hose expansion. Unlike OE rubber brake lines, Galfer stainless steel brake lines do not expand under pressure so they require less pressure to operate at their maximum. Galfer brake lines feature Teflon inner hoses wrapped by the highest quality braided stainless steel. Each line is covered by a flexible clear plastic that will not discolor over time. This covering protects fenders and bodywork from scratches. The hose end fittings and banjo bolts are stainless steel for maximum durability. All kits include crush washers. Hose end fitting will vary depending on application.

Why does Galfer reccommend a mechanic install these lines?
The simple answer is that when you fit these lines to your calipers, if you have the angle too vertical you run the risk of crimping these lines which could result in a nasty crash.
Worth the extra money?
If you're an average street rider then you're probably very well suited by a regular 2-line front kit. But if you're an aggressive track rider or racer- the SuperBike Line Kit is a great upgrade along with a set of SuperBike Rotors. Also, if you're going to do the gold fitting upgrade to a regular kit, the gold fittings are standard with the SBK kit so this may be a good alternative.
