Galfer stainless steel lines improve your braking power by preventing hose expansion. Unlike OE rubber brake lines, Galfer stainless steel brake lines do not expand under pressure so they require less pressure to operate at their maximum. Galfer brake lines feature Teflon inner hoses wrapped by the highest quality braided stainless steel.

Each line is covered by a flexible clear plastic that will not discolor over time. This covering protects fenders and bodywork from scratches. The hose end fittings and banjo bolts are stainless steel for maximum durability.

All kits include crush washers. Hose end fitting will vary depending on application.

Made with DuPont PTFE 62 Type Teflon Inner and steel braided cable outer.

Has a dash 3 inner teflon house. (actually 2.8) 16 braided lines of steel around inner teflon and all lines are coated with PVC protective coating.

Available in 8 colors: Red, Yellow, Clear, Green, Orange, Smoke, and Black (Smoke is a lighter black)

Coating prevents scratches on the bike and helps to keep the fluid from being effected by humidity

Threads directly into calipers without use of banjo bolts.

Allows for smoother more effective flow of brake fluid. Fittings are all pre-positioned.

Provides stronger lever feel and quicker stopping power because it creates better pressure to the caliper and does not get absorbed by the line.

Superbike Lines are a true 2-finger braking system.

Why does Galfer reccommend a mechanic install these lines?
The simple answer is that when you fit these lines to your calipers, if you have the angle too vertical you run the risk of crimping these lines which could result in a nasty crash.

Worth the extra money?
Here's the skinny...if you're an average street rider then you're probably very well suited by a regular 2-line front kit. But if you're an aggressive track rider or racer- the SuperBike Line Kit is a great upgrade along with a set of SuperBike Rotors. Also, if you're going to do the gold fitting upgrade to a regular kit, the gold fittings are standard with the SBK kit so this may be a good alternative.
