Some years back, was traveling for my job on the bike. Nothing fancy, day or two ride. Meet with client, then ride home. One time, I finished early and was faced with an entire day of free time. Mine as well ride across the state to see Crater Lake. Soon as I got there, had to turn right around & head home to be back in time.
The ride ended up being 16 hours nonstop in the saddle, a quick break for gas and an energy bar. 500 miles, 16 hours. No freeway, just backroads. While the ride was awesome and memorable, it was also painful. My hand ached towards the end of the day. Holding the throttle for that length of time. When home was finally reached, it took 3 days to keep the feeling back in my hand.
Thus began the search for not just any throttle lock, but The Best! I found it in the Throttlemeister and have never looked back. Every bike that has been in my garage has had one. |
